THE ONE
Where can I find the one
who speaks without words
to talk with it of Braham?
For she who strains her neck to see
is blind.
|
Perhaps the nesting sparrow understands best
the seed
of the fruit
of the tree
of the earth
of the rain
of the seed
of its Mother.
|
For all is one in Brahman's eyes.
The peak is as a drop of dew
and sandalwood is fleece.
She who waits on the shore
will witness the passing of many ships
While she who wades into the river of Brahman
shall surely be submerged.
